The very high quality of the acrylic sealants we supply therefore demands that the most appropriate equipment is used to ensure correct application.
The use of garden sprayers that are more frequently used for weed killers etc, cannot be used to apply our sealers. The acrylic content will effectively destroy the plastic nozzles and rubber seals making them totally inoperative.
All of our sealers have industrial grade viton rubber seals and high quality hoses to ensure they are resilient to the solvents.
For customers wishing to gain multiple use from the sprayers then it is essential to purchase our Application Tools cleaning fluid. This repeat use product is to be used each time the spray unit has been in action with our acrylic sealers to remove any residue within the internal mechanism.
Care should be taken when pouring sealer into the sprayer unit and a funnel is recommended as any over spill into the locking screw thread of the pump and base unit can after a short period of time solidify the two to a point were it becomes extremely difficult to undue the two parts.
