Renew your home with a simple wall in plasterboard
You need to divide otherwise the rooms of your home.
But you don`t plan to begin the long and complicated masonry work.
For this you are thinking of using a practical and fast method: the plasterboard wall!

BUILD A WALL IN PLASTERBOARD
Choose where to build the plasterboard wall.
It is the first thing to do.
If you are dividing a room, make the signs (on walls, floor and ceiling) with pinstripe tracer.
To draw straight and perfectly parallel lines, help yourself with wire and lead seal.
Mount the metal guide on the floor.
Following the line that you have just given, mounted the guide that will go on the floor.
Each guide has a specific way to be fixed to the floor.
The side guides is the one on the ceiling.
Always follow the same directions, mounted the side guides (those who have to go along the wall) and then driving on the ceiling.
HOW TO PROCEED...
You will need a scale for these two operations.
You will have created a rectangular frame.
Always check that the structure is perfectly perpendicular.
Begin to assemble the uprights.
These shall be positioned at a distance of about 40-50 cm from each other.
Think now about where the door will go.
If you want a door, you'll have to stop driving to the ground, make two other mounted and a traverse: hereinafter will be mounted on the door frame.
Get correct measure of future door before making this work.
Place the sheets of drywall to the structure.
There are two great ways to do this, laying the sheets horizontally or vertically.
The most common and economical method is the laying of slabs horizontally.
In this case, you will have to start from the ceiling, fixing the panels to the structure with special joints (generally the screws).
Do not forget the baseboards will settle when the lower panel.
The wall is now done!
By now most of the work is done…you can relax!
Grouted the joints with the mortar for plasterboard and apply an elastic bandage to prevent cracks.
Shaved the plasterboard using the appropriate smoothing (usually takes a couple of passes).
Paint the wall.
