Chapin XP 7.6ltr ProSeries Viton Seal Sprayer
The Chapin ProSeries Poly Sprayer is ideal for driveway and patio use. With the inclusion of Viton seals & gaskets it can easily be used to apply high quality sealers.
If using with our acrylic solvent-based sealers then Smartseal Tools Cleaning Fluid must be used afterwards to clean the unit and nozzles.
This poly pump sprayer features:
- 7.6ltr translucent poly tank with 4-inch-wide mouth opening for easy filling and cleaning.
- Cushion grip shut-off, poly wand and adjustable brass, poly-fan and poly-cone nozzles.
- Shutoff matches most backpack shutoff assemblies.
Q: I have just purchased a 5ltr tin of smartseal concrete sealer, is it solvent based please. Also can you recommend which sprayer would be best to use with the sealer. Finally what do i need to clean the sprayer with after use. Many thanks...
A: If the product is in a metal tin, it would be solvent. You would want a sprayer with viton seals, we would advise using the chapin range, Gloria, IK or Smith. Furthermore, if you want to clean, please look in to the Smartseal 'Tools Cleaning Fluid'.
Q: Are all your sprayers with viton seals suitable for using with diluted sodium hypochlorite?
A: Even if it is diluted, sodium hypochlorite will slowly start to degrade viton seals in a sprayer if used frequently. If you intend to use it with a sprayer, make sure you flush the sprayer out with clean water immediately after use. This should help to prolong the lifespan of the viton seals within the sprayer.
Q: What is the spray like , I mean how wide does it spray ? I am looking to seal block paving , the one I have is basic and would take ages
A: When using the Chapin Sprayer (7.6L) to spray block paving sealer most of our customers would use the blue tip nozzle which comes with the sprayer. The nozzle will create a light 'fan type' effect so the sealer is sprayed evenly across the surface. We would also recommend using the tools cleaning fluid to clean out the sprayer after use.
We provide a national delivery service for our block paving sealer, pattern imprinted concrete sealer, roof coatings and tarmac restorer on a standard 2 - 4 working day basis. Dependent on weight, this is normally done by pallet or parcel carrier.
