Q: Hello there. Several risers on the exterior concrete steps to the front door have broken down, crumbled due to rain and frost. Unfortunately, we couldn't get anyone to repair them. Seemingly, it's too small a job. Anyway, we've repaired them ourselves. Although not a professional job, they don't look too bad. I'm going to give them a light sanding to tidy the finish up a bit, and then apply some kind of weatherseal. To give the cement a better/more even finish, I'm thinking of using a grey tint in the sealer? Would your product be good for this job? Is it suitable for use on steps? Should I simply ensure that it's either water or solvent based, depending on the sealer? Thanks in advance, Linda
A: The grey Sealer Colour Tint should be OK to mix with the cement and sealer to create a more even finish. Samples are available to test.
Q: Hi have brought your sealer colour tints ( have 3 colours as previous pattern was 3 and i liked it but has badly faded) is it ok to mix with the wet look sealer to paint on or is the wet look sealer just for top sealing coat, only asking as i have only purchased the silk/wet look sealer to go with the colours. Thank you
A: If you are using a small amount of colour tint, then it should be OK to use with the SILK Imprinted Concrete Sealer you have purchased. If you are intending to use a lot of colour tint in the sealer, then the MATT Imprinted Concrete Sealer would be best to use.
Q: Good evening, we are looking to reseal our concrete pavement, which is currently a sandstone like colour. We would like to turn it into a grey driveway. Could you please put the shades of grey in order from darkest to lightest ? Many thanks
A: In the Sealer Colour Tints for Imprinted Concrete the order from darkest to lightest would be Charcoal, Slate grey, Steel Grey, Platinum Grey then Silver grey.

Good product easy to use when mixed with imprinted concrete sealer no problem to apply would recommend Smart seal products with no hesitation.
Used half a tub of colour to 25litre Matt for first coat, covered the faded concrete brilliantly, used say22litres on first coat, then topped up with about 15litres of sealer for second coat, over the moon with the result just got to. do top silk coat.
Colours the sealant nicely. You dont need much so I only used the 30g sample on my 2nd coat of approx 2 litres of sealant and it has worked well.
