Highly Concentrated Powder Pigment - Use Sparingly. For use with Imprinted Concrete Sealers (20 colours)
Colour Tints to restore original colour to Imprinted Concrete surfaces.
Add sparingly directly to sealer, until desired colour is achieved (always apply on a small test area first). Agitate regularly during application.
Only recommended to be used in combination with Smartseal MATT finish sealer.
WARNING: Unnecessary use, or too much colour added to sealer can cause peeling or flaking.
Only use with solvent based imprinted concrete sealer to bring back original colouring of driveway or patio.

Q: Hi. Is it possible to shake the colour pigment on to the concrete. Like a pepper pot and seal over the top of it. Thanks
A: The colour pigment should really be mixed in with the sealer before application. However, if you wanted to shake the pigment onto the concrete and then seal over, you could do it, but it is hard to determine how it would look after application and would be against our recommendations.
Q: Hi, I have a light grey imprinted concrete drive (imitating large cobbles) with a dark grey surround (imitating dark bricks).. The "bricks" have faded. If I use a dark tint to add colour to the "bricks" will the colour run when I apply clear (matt) sealant to the whole drive? Or do I need to be careful to keep the clear sealant away from the tinted sealant on the "bricks"? Thank you.
A: After you have applied the dark tint to the edging bricks it would be best to hand paint a line away from the edge with clear sealer, before you apply clear sealer over the rest of the drive. If you apply the clear sealer over the newly painted darker edge there is a possibility the darker colour could bleed into the lighter area. Painting a clear border by hand should help to avoid this issue.

A: If you are looking to add a darker colour to the dark grey surround and no colour to the existing lighter area, you would need to be careful during the application. It may be best to mix the darker colour tint to some sealer and paint it on carefully with a brush. When you add the clear sealer, you would also need to be careful at the border as the clear sealer could leech into the dareker area and make it 'bleed'. It is possible to do what you are sugesting but you would just need to be careful during the application process.

Used half a tub of colour to 25litre Matt for first coat, covered the faded concrete brilliantly, used say22litres on first coat, then topped up with about 15litres of sealer for second coat, over the moon with the result just got to. do top silk coat.
