NEW 'How To' and 'Q&A' Videos on YouTube

28th March 2018 in Training

At Smartseal we are busy creating a complete series of ‘How To’ and ‘Q&A’ short videos  covering all the FAQ’s we are asked on a daily basis by DIY customers and contractors.

These precise, 2 to 3.5 minute easy to follow videos really are the professional guide on ‘How To’ prepare, clean, treat, restore and colour a range of different materials that are used to create beautiful drives and patios. Surfaces covered will include imprinted concrete, block paving and natural stone.

The knowledge passed on will help you ‘become the expert’ and form a valuable knowledge resource that you can refer back to time and time again. If you are keen on  DIY, you will gain the confidence and the information required to maintain and protect your own property. If you are a professional contractor you can increase your income by fulfilling your customer’s requirements. Your ‘host’ is Nigel Blake founder of Smartseal UK Ltd. Not only has Nigel worked within the paving and sealing industry Since the early 1990’s but he has literally personally cleaned, sealed and protected hundreds of patios and drives. Since 2008 Nigel has also trained in excess of 600 professional contractors who make their living by cleaning and sealing paving. These videos share a lot of that training and specialist expertise with you.

For example, did you realise that pressure washing of nearly all types of manufactured paving is not recommended by any manufacturers or suppliers? Nigel explains why pressure cleaning can shorten the lifespan of paving, cause loss of colour and damage the surface.

in this series of 'hands on' videos, amongst many other things, we share expert tips on how you can effectively clean your drive or patio without intense jet washing. Once cleaned, we then show you how to seal and protect the surface, from then on, with a little routine maintenance any form of potentially damaging pressure cleaning can be a thing of the past.
