Sealer Repair Fluid for removing whiteness on Imprinted Concrete and Block Paved Surfaces
If the solvent based imprinted concrete or block paving sealers have been applied in conditions when the surface is damp this can lead to problems. Surface whiteness is the most common issue and appears over time if the sealer has been applied when the surface is damp.
Smartseal sealer repair fluid should be used when problems like patchy whiteness have appeared on the surface of existing imprinted concrete or block paved driveways and patios. Surface whiteness, peeling or flaking sealer are common issues that are easily corrected using sealer repair fluid.
Smartseal Sealer Repair Fluid will restore existing imprinted concrete sealer or block paving sealer and clear surface whiteness from imprinted concrete and block paved surfaces.

Sealer repair fluid is a product designed to repair incorrectly applied sealer which is lifting or sealer which has reacted with moisture during the drying process. For imprinted concrete it should be liberally applied to the affected area, left for a couple of minutes and then worked into the surface vigorously with a soft broom until the sealer goes "tacky" under your broom. This will show you have 'softened' the sealer and you then allow it to re-bond to the concrete by leaving it.
For removal of surface whiteness on block paving repeat as instructions above, but with block paving be careful not to disturb the jointing sand when working the sealer repair fluid into the surface of the blocks.

Q: Will the repair fluid be correct to use on concrete imprint drive that has white patches and flaking areas. Also what preparation of these areas is required. Regards Ian

Once thi shappens, just allow it to dry and re-bond to the concrete by leaving it. Do not wash off with water.
Q: How many sq metres should the sealer repair fluid cover?
A: Coverage depends on type of surface being treated and level of contamination, we would suggest an average of 3m2 per litre. Hope that helps.
Q: I've done a really poor job sealing my block paving drive with loose sand all over pavers do you sell a product to remove sealer
A: The sealer repair fluid can be used to soften up the sealer and the sand can be wiped off with a cloth. However, this is a painstaking process and could take a considerable amount of time as you have to go over very small sections at a time. It may be better to add a small amount of colour tint to the sealer or repair fluid and do an additional coat, so that it disguises the sand and blends in better with the rest of the block paving that may not be affected.

This is really good stuff. I seal my drive every 3 to 4 years but in between when the surface loses its sheen and looks a little dull I use the sealer repair fluid. You don't need alot and it brushes in very quickly bringing the colour back to life.
