Q: Can the restorer be applied by low pressure manual pump sprayer, I do not want to use rollers.
A: No you cannot use a pump sprayer to apply the tarmac restorer as it is too viscose. If you want to aply by spryaer, you would need an airles sprayer, otherwise known as a paint sprayer to spray the tarmac restorer.
Q: Wondering if I could request a sample of the black tarmac driveway restorer please. Also, does this product bond loose chippings?
A: Although, the tarmac restorer will help to reduce surface fretting where loose chippings lie on the surface, it is not really a product that will bind them together and eliminate this problem completely. Samples are available to purchase directly from the website or over the phone.
Q: Hi I have a tarmac drive that was laid not very well in 2015 by a professional company. The surface is reasonably intact with only the areas where my vehicles have marked the surface being discoloured. The drive is 10meters x 10meters but on a slope rising 4feet over the first 8 meters. Do you have an anti slip additive for use with your product. Thank you
A: We do not have an anti-slip additive that can be added to the tarmac restorer. The Tarmac Restorer in BLACK will replicate the texture of the surface that is already there. If it is not that slippery currently, then it should remain so after you have applied the tarmac restorer.

My tarmac drive measures approx 50 m2, so I ordered two 20 litre containers of Tarmaseal (as one 20 litre container is supposed to cover 40-60 m2 and two coats is recommended). Preparation consisted of giving the south-facing drive a thorough sweep, filling a small hole with the crack repair compound and treating a couple of oil stains with the oil stain remover. I didn't power hose the drive as I don't posses a power hose. The first coat took 7 hours to apply using the roller kit and a brush to the edges, and I used the whole of one container as the drive was quite worn (over 20 years old). The second coat took just 2.5 hours and used about half of the second container, so I gave the drive a third coat as I had enough Tarmaseal left over. The final result looks very impressive, almost like new, with a consistent finish.
Used this tarmac restorer four years ago and the result was so good I have ordered more to treat another part of my tarmac. Easy to use, spreads well and looks good when finished.
Good product easy to apply and excellent finish on old 'well worn' tarmac. Make sure to have plenty of containers, roller sleeves and brushes ready before starting the application.
