Once applied, Smartseal wood sealer creates an invisible waterproof barrier that will help prevent the ingress of moisture on ingress on pressure treated softwoods such as fences, sheds, garden furniture and decking. The wood waterproofer is specially formulated to protect your outdoor wooden surfaces for up to 10 years. The water-resistant surface will also inhibit the growth and spread of mould and algae which is a big problem with softwoods, especially in shaded north-facing areas of locations with high levels of rainfall.

- Cannot be painted over or used on top of paint, as they will prevent one another from adhering to the wood.
To ensure the best results and prior to application, all wooden surfaces being treated should be thoroughly cleaned first.

Directions for Use:
Application:
Apply only to dry surfaces above 8°C with a surface temperature no higher than 23°C and no rain forecast for at least 4 hours.
Apply 2 coats by sprayer, roller or brush with application of second coat within 4 hours.
Wear appropriate safety wear.
Q: I am getting some decking board delivered, can I apply two coats of this and then stain it at a later date?
A: The wood sealer is formulated to be a protector and 'repellent' this means any stain that is applied at a later date, might not adhere correctly.
Q: Will this work on exterior wood that has been painted with an acrylic paint?
A: We would always suggest trying a sample of the wood sealer 1st in these circumstances. Hope that helps.
Q: Can I first clean, then waterproof and then paint my fence?
A: After applying the brick sealer, the fence panels will become a repellent. If then left a few months at least, the paint should still adhere ok, but it would be advised to apply to a test patch 1st
We provide a national delivery service for our block paving sealer, pattern imprinted concrete sealer, roof coatings and tarmac restorer on a standard 2 - 4 working day basis. Dependent on weight, this is normally done by pallet or parcel carrier.
