Smartseal Render Sealer is suitable for use on most types of render including K-Rend, Monocouche and Parex. The render sealant is also highly water resistant and provides lasting protection from water ingress, damp and moisture.
After application, Smartseal Render Sealer leaves an invisible matt finish which allows the surface to remain breathable. The sealer impregnates into the render providing protection for up to 10 years. Formulated from solvent-free, highly-advanced protective polymers, the exterior wall sealer creates a high performance, water-repellent barrier. Keeping the render dry will help to inhibit the growth of black mould and green algae which tend to grow quickly on porous exterior walls.

Smartseal Render Sealer is suitable for use on modern renders like K-Rend, silicone renders, general monocouche renders, as well as older sand & cement renders. It can also be applied to concrete,natural stone, slate, lime pointing, brickwork and much more. The exterior wall sealer maintains breathability so is suitable for application historic or listed buildings.
This render sealer will not change the appearance of the render or masonry it is applied to. Any rendered surface will still retain the look of its pre-sealed appearance. The purpose of the external wall sealer sealer is to protect the render without changing its colour or appearance. After application, the invisible wall sealer protects the render without leaving a sheen, shine or any colour change.
Once Smartseal Render Sealer has been applied to any unpainted rendered walls, they will be well protected against damaging water ingress, which can cause cracking and surface damage. Moisture ingress on render is a major contributor to the reduction of the lifespan, and algae growth will affect its aesthetic appearance. By keeping rendered walls dry, application of the exterior wall sealer will significantly reduce, if not eliminate algae and the formation of organic growth. Any contaminants or pollutants on the substrate can easily be removed using Smartseal Render Cleaner, without risk of damage to the surface.
Rendered substrates protected by impregnating and breathable wall sealer will stay clean for significantly longer periods than unsealed surfaces, reducing maintenance, general deterioration and the need for regular cleaning.

COVERAGE:
For best results, apply mist coat by sprayer to enable single heavier coat to key successfully onto the render (giving 2 coats in total). On K-Rend and Monocouche types of render, coverage of around 5m² per litre is to be expected. On more porous substrates reduced coverage of approx 4m² per litre can be expected.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Store sealed in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, use entire contents as soon as possible.
Do not apply to Damp Surfaces or at temperatures below 7°C.
APPLICATION:
The Render Sealer will leave a Clear Dry Invisible Finish. Application by sprayer or roller with cutting in around windows, plinths etc with a paint brush.
