The damp proof paint is suitable for internal and external use. The liquid dpm can quickly stop water ingress on walls and help prevent the spread of penetrating damp.
Smartseal Damp Proof Paint is a ready-to-use, liquid damp-proofing paint which can help to protect against water ingress on porous substrates, such as concrete brickwork and render. It is specially formulated for for use as part of a below ground-level waterproofing systems.
The damp proof paint provides a seamless, waterproof, radon barrier under plaster or renders. It can also be applied to pond linings to act as a waterproof barrier, and will help to protect against water ingress in areas with constant water contact, such as under tiles in bathrooms and kitchens, as well as food processing areas and balconies. Furthermore, it also forms a barrier to protect against harmful methane and carbon dioxide gases.

Q: I have a newly rendered front garden wall should I paint all the wall in this paint or mask up wall and just paint the lower/ below ground area and then use masonry paint for the rest?
A: You can do either. You could paint the whole wall with the damp proof paint or you could paint the section below the ground area.
Q: Can Climashield damp proof paint be applied over a pebble dash covered brick wall that has exterior grade paint on it ?
A: The damp proof paint should only be applied to an unpainted surface. Any existing paint should be applied before application.
Q: If I use this product on rendering in my conservatory can I plaster over it,thanks.
A: As long as the render used can adhere to a painted surface (best to check with supplier of the render)
